Data Sources
COMMRENV displays public records. This page lists exactly where they come from, what is included, and what is not.
Clark County GIS Management Office (GISMO)
All parcel, zoning and address data on this site is retrieved live from Clark County’s published ArcGIS REST services at maps.clarkcountynv.gov.
| Data | Service | Fields used |
|---|---|---|
| Parcel identity, size, tax district, boundary | Assessor parcel layer | APN, assessor acreage, tax district, parcel geometry |
| Zoning classification | Published zoning layers for Clark County, Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas | Zoning class code, jurisdiction description |
| Site address | Clark County composite address locator | Matched site address |
How it is handled
- Records are retrieved on request and cached for up to twelve hours. The retrieval time is displayed with every result.
- Values are reproduced as published. COMMRENV does not adjust, smooth or estimate them.
- Land square footage is the only derived figure, calculated as assessor acreage × 43,560. It is labelled as derived.
- Where the county has not published a value, COMMRENV shows that the value is not published rather than substituting an estimate.
Zoning interpretation
Zoning codes and their descriptions are reproduced verbatim from the county layer. The broad category label COMMRENV attaches — commercial, industrial, residential and so on — is COMMRENV’s own grouping for navigation and is identified as such wherever it appears. It has no official standing.
COMMRENV does not determine permitted use. Verify any proposed use with the governing jurisdiction before relying on zoning information from this or any other website.
Not currently published
Owner of record, ownership mailing address, building characteristics, recorded sale history, permit activity, assessed and taxable values, and market statistics. These are not exposed by the public services COMMRENV currently uses. They are planned from separate county sources and will be added here when they are.
Accuracy
Public records contain errors, and county data is updated on schedules COMMRENV does not control. Nothing on this site is a substitute for a title report, a survey, a zoning verification letter, or professional advice. Verify anything you intend to rely on.
